Major Android components
Butler is built with open-source software including Kotlin, AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, Material components, OkHttp, Mike Penz Iconics, and Community Material Design Icons. The Free edition also integrates proprietary or separately licensed Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform SDKs under Google's terms.
Each dependency remains licensed by its respective author under the license included with that component. The application distribution should include machine-generated dependency notices where required; this page is an overview and does not replace those license texts.
Home Assistant
Home Assistant is open-source software maintained by the Open Home Foundation and its contributors. Home Assistant and related names and marks belong to their respective owners. Biofects Butler is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Open Home Foundation or Nabu Casa unless expressly stated.
Google and Android
Android, Google Play, Google Mobile Ads, and related names and marks are trademarks of Google LLC. Use of Google services is governed by Google's applicable SDK, advertising, privacy, and store terms.
Material Design Icons
Icons derived from Material Design Icons or Community Material Design Icons remain subject to their applicable licenses and trademark restrictions.
